Service Agreement CAD Germany


With the service agreement from CAD Germany, you ensure professional support beyond the manufacturer's standard services. It complements existing maintenance contracts (e.g., BricsCAD) and offers you:

  • Telephone support from our technicians

  • Remote support via Teams or TeamViewer

  • Response times within 28 hours on weekdays

  • Assistance with third-party plugins, customizations, and error analysis

The service agreement is automatically extended for another year unless it is canceled in writing at least six weeks before the end of the term.

You will receive an invoice in advance with a payment term due immediately upon receipt. The contract is concluded by utilizing our services – a signature is not required.



Contract information CAD Germany CDIC GmbH and the automatic renewal of the manufacturer's maintenance agreements

between

CAD Germany CDIC GmbH – hereafter "CAD Germany" –


and


the respective customer – hereafter "Customer" –

Subject of the contract

The CDIC GmbH contract regulates the automatic renewal of maintenance contracts for software products from various manufacturers – especially BricsCAD – as well as additional support services by CAD Germany.

Maintenance extension / Invoicing

CAD Germany takes over monitoring and timely renewal of maintenance contracts that were concluded along with software purchases.

If no written cancellation is made at least six weeks before the expiration of the respective maintenance contract, it is automatically extended and ordered by CAD Germany.

The renewal is deemed commissioned by the customer and is subject to payment.

Invoicing and payment obligation

The renewal invoice is automatically sent at least four weeks before the expiration of the existing maintenance contract to the billing address on file with the customer. The payment term is: net, immediately upon receipt, without deduction.

The invoice is binding without the need for separate acceptance by the customer, provided there is no timely cancellation.

Support services

The support services directly covered by the manufacturers (e.g., through email via the Bricsys support portal or email support from other manufacturers) are included in the scope of the manufacturers' maintenance contracts (Bricsys). Extended support services by CAD Germany, such as:


  • Phone support

  • Teams or TeamViewer screen sharing

  • Response times within 28 hours


can be purchased at any time through a service agreement.


Without this additional service agreement, there is no entitlement to additional services beyond the manufacturers' standard services.

The full description of the manufacturer's standard maintenance is sent in a separate PDF after the purchase or via offer.

Contract duration and termination

The contract is indefinite and tied to the term of the respective maintenance contract. Termination is only effective if it is received in writing by CAD Germany at least six weeks before the end of the current term. The receipt of the termination is decisive, not its dispatch.

Final provisions

The contract is concluded by acceptance upon ordering or by using the services. A signature is not required.

Changes to this contract must be in writing (text form sufficient). If individual provisions are invalid or become invalid, the validity of the rest of the provisions remains unaffected.

The place of jurisdiction is the location of CAD Germany CDIC GmbH.

Individual technical advice includes:

Error analyses outside the manufacturer support

Assistance with third-party plugins or customizations

Immediate telephone support

Remote support (TeamViewer etc.)


These require a separate service agreement with CAD Germany CDIC GmbH.
